Interesting pt 1

Ryota stared at his father as he did his duties of guarding the ranch entrance. Ryota had always been curious of his father’s position and how he worked for Letting You, but he never fully became invested in what he did. His father barely paid attention to him and so in return he hardly paid attention to his father.

Today was different, only because he was allowing in a trainer and a very interesting looking Pokemon today. She was tall and walked with her head held high and carried a sword. He had never seen anyone else like her. He was very intrigued.

He kept staring as the trainer walked to the ranch house with the Pokemon following behind. The trainer stepped into the house and turned back to the Pokemon, giving her a small talk before disappearing into the house. The trainer was most likely going to have a chat with Stacy. The Pokemon sat down just outside the house, looking slightly bored.

Ryota could hardly contain himself much longer. He had to get to know the Pokemon or it’d kill him. He ran over as fast as he could, alerting the Pokemon of interest. As he got closer and walked more slowly he noticed that he was walking from four legs to two and grew in height. He hardly cared, though, as he stood before the cross.

“Uh, hello,” he said. “My name is Ryota. Please, inform me of your name.”
